It’s true, Christmas can feel like a lot of work, particularly for mothers. But when you look back on all the Christmases in your life, you’ll find you’ve created family traditions and lasting memories. Those memories, good and bad, are really what help to keep a family together over the long haul.

The dust has settled. Your family has headed back to their respective lives and locations. You look around at the decorations, half-eaten cookie trays,  and slightly wilting Christmas tree and sigh. Another holiday season is in the books and the new year is rolling forward.

Was it worth the effort, travel, and expense?  It always is for us.  Days, weeks, and months seem to fly by (especially the older you get).  If we all don’t make a collective effort as family or group friends to, occasionally, get together and share our love, laughter, and traditions life seems to slip away that much faster.

This beautiful lake home is designed and furnished to perfectly capture those moments and crystallize them in memory forever.  The rooms are cozy and the home is meant to hold lots of friends and family.  Bunk beds for plenty of sleeping and lots of cozy areas to catch up, tell stories, and share a laugh.
